Consequently, Samsung’s plans to equip its Galaxy S23 Ultra with a 200 MP camera in the coming year were viewed by some as more of a marketing idea than a real leap forward.
Now, however, leaks have landed on the Internet, which certify that the Korean manufacturer’s flagship can actually provide a new wind with the camera.

Samsung’s camera shows fine details
The images come from the well-known leaker @IceUniverse, who has already made a name for himself with a large number of correct rumors in the smartphone sector. He shared three photos on the Chinese platform Weibowhich are said to come from the camera of the Google Pixel 7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra.
The main lens of the S23 Ultra cuts a damn good figure. Because while the similarities to its predecessor are still clearly visible, a closer look reveals fine details in the image of the 200 MP camera, which are not the case with the S22 Ultra (108 MP) and Pixel 7 Pro (50 MP). recognizes. The two models that have already been released look much smoother in direct comparison, but the photo of the S23 Ultra shows the surface structure of the pumpkin better.
The Google Pixel still has an ace up its sleeve

When is the S23 Ultra coming?
Officially, Samsung has not yet announced anything about the S23 Ultra. An announcement of the next top model of the Galaxy series as well as the two smaller sibling models S23 Plus and S23 is expected at the beginning of next year.
It will probably take a few more weeks before the smartphones actually appear on the market. A release in February could be quite realistic.
