Qualcomm isn’t revealing anything more yet. But the rumor mill on the internet is already bubbling violently. We’ll tell you which cell phones are expected to be released with the new chip. The first smartphones with the new chip are said to include the iQOO 13, the OnePlus 13, the Honor Magic 7 and the Xiaomi 15. All four smartphones will be unveiled in October, reports Gizmochina.
Xiaomi 15 is said to be one of the first cell phones with Snapdragon 8 Elite
According to Gizmochina, the next Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone, the Realme GT7 Pro, will be launched in November. Official confirmations from the manufacturers are still pending. Nipun Marya, the head of IQOO in India, has already given a more than clear indication on X (formerly Twitter) that the manufacturer’s next cell phone will be released with the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
However, most of the cell phones mentioned will initially only be available in China and India and will not appear in Europe until 2025. One of the first cell phones in this country with the chipset could be the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is expected for mid-January 2025.
