Meanwhile, it is certain that a “Game of Thrones” spin-off about Jon Snow is being worked on behind the scenes. Kit Harington revealed to Jimmy Fallon why he’s interested in the sequel.

- Kit Harington is set to reprise his role as Jon Snow in a Game of Thrones spin-off.
- As for Jimmy Fallon, Harington explained with a wink that the lack of interest in him would speak in favor of the new series.
- In fact, Harington is already involved in the production himself, despite once suffering from post-Game of Thrones mental health issues.
“House of the Dragon” proved in 2022 that the audience after “Game of Thrones” still has a great interest in stories from Westeros. So it’s no wonder that other series are in production, but in some cases without the official green light.
This also includes the series “Snow”, which is intended to continue the story of Jon Snow as a spin-off to “Game of Thrones”. Actor Kit Harington was asked about “Snow” by the always cheerful presenter during an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon”.
Harington didn’t confirm that the series was coming, but a denial also looks different. He joked that four years have passed since “Game of Thrones” and that he is less and less recognized on the street and asked for a photo. If interest in him continues to wane, he might have to do the spin-off.
The truth, of course, is very different. So revealed “Game of Thrones” creator George RR: Martin alreadythat Kit Harington himself had the idea for “Snow” and is fighting for the spin-off to be filmed. HBO is also interested, but has not yet decided whether to actually film the series.
It’s a bit of a surprise that Kit Harington is so interested in returning as Jon Snow, after revealing he entered therapy in 2019 after the stress of Game of Thrones was causing him mental health issues.
Maybe the joking statements about Jimmy Fallon are not so untrue, after all, Harington did not have any great successes after “Thrones”. That should change with “Snow”, one can only hope that Harington’s health does not suffer from the series.
