Game of Thrones: Jon Snow returns – for an absurdly successful mobile role-playing game

On July 25, the mobile studio Zynga released another free2play game, this time with the license for Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon. Apparently, many fans have been waiting for just such an opportunity, because according to Google Play, Game of Thrones: Legends has already been downloaded over 500,000 times. In terms of content, you have to build your own house in the game, form alliances with other characters and put together a group of heroes that you then improve by leveling up or using items. It sounds like a role-playing game, but as with many other mobile games, the gameplay of GoT: Legends is rather thin. Once again, it’s all about smashing colorful gems. Jon Snow actor Kit Harrington, who you can also see in the trailer, was brought on board for the marketing campaign for Game of Thrones: Legends. Harrington even describes the game in a PM as a “love letter to the fans.” But you can probably judge that better.
