The German gaming association game has presented the sales awards for September – and EA Sports FC 25 is off to a strong start again.
Electronic Arts has once again landed a big blockbuster with EA Sports FC 25; This was now also reflected in the official German sales figures for the new football title, which were made public at the game sales awards. The German Gaming Association allows this to be used for particularly high-selling titles in Germany – and in September EA Sports FC 25 was once again unstoppable.
It sold within a few days of its release at the end of September EA Sports FC 25 By the end of the month, it had been sold over 600,000 times, which makes for a rare multi-platinum trophy straight away. Congratulations, EA!
Other titles also found quite reasonable taker numbers in Germany. Although Ubisoft itself confirmed that the game did not meet high internal expectations, it sold Star Wars Outlaws but over 100,000 times in Germany alone. That’s enough for the game sales award in gold.
Two other titles also achieved Gold Awards for 100,000 sales. Once again a Zelda title was successful on the Switch The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom broke this mark. This also applies to the third-person shooter Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine 2 in which you engage in action-packed battles with the opposing Tyranid hordes.
