The
Gamescom organizers have issued an official statement about the fate of this year's show.
It is reported that the German government banned public gatherings until the end of August, Gamescom 2020 The organizers have released an update to explain what will happen at this year's show.
For starters, Gamescom 2020 will not actually be delayed at any other time of the year. Instead, the organizers will focus exclusively on the digital version, which will be held at the regular location of the conference in late August, and more details will be revealed in the next few weeks. All purchased tickets will also be refunded.

Geoff Keighley's game showcase: Gamescom: The opening night will return on Monday, August 24, and Keesley will host again. Opening Night Live was produced last year in collaboration with Keighley and Gamescom and made its debut.
