Every year, prizes are awarded to the best and most successful games in the industry in many places. The GDC Awards in March are among the most prestigious awards. Now the nominees are determined in 2020 – and Death Stranding has pretty good cards.

The Game Developers Conference in California increases every year in March – and this year, too, the event, which is likely to bring an announcement or two, will again be accompanied by the GDC Awards. Now the nominees for the prestigious award ceremony in 2020 have been determined.
Above all, three titles have the edge, which were nominated in large numbers. This is Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding with a whopping seven nominations, followed by Control and The Outer Wilds, each with five chances of winning in one category.
All three games can also be found among the nominees in the king category: the Game of the Year. But the indie hit Untitled Goose Game and the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice by From Software, which has already won several awards elsewhere in this category, still have their fingers in the game.
All games that were published in the past calendar year 2019 could be nominated. The complete list reads as follows:
