Gears 5 will obviously get a chunk of new content in the next few days, so that you can cheerfully drive away the corona boredom with ballers.

Named as Operation 3: Gridiron gets a whole package with new food for Gears 5. There are four new characters with their own ultimates. "Cole Train" Cole and Clayton Carmine reinforce the hero side, while Queen Myrrah and Theron Guard join the bad guys.
There is also a new Gridiron mode in which you grab a flag and place it in the opposing area and have to survive five seconds for a "touchdown". The game is played with five against five players. There are points for your actions: 2 for a touchdown, 2 for an elimination and 1 if you hold the flag when the 2-minute round timer expires. The fact that you only have one life per match makes things a little more exciting – hence the high score for eliminations. The game is played until the first team reaches 13 points.
Also included in the package is Pahanu, a new map that is designed in the jungle setting with a swamp in the middle. In addition, the Gears-1-Map Calas returns and with Arena and Annex there are two more 2vs2 maps. There is also a new Tour of Duty with new unlockables and new achievements.
Gears 5: Operation 3: Gridiron is scheduled for March 31st for PC and Xbox One.
