The next project of the alliance may take several years, but we will soon see something from the team.
Gears of War Studio, alliance, Revealed that it will bring something special to this year’s GDC.The team created a demo called Unreal Engine 5 Alpha point, It will be shown to attendees at the development conference.
The Unreal Engine 5 demo was created to allow developers to “evaluate” the engine, which will run on Xbox Series X. In particular, the Alpha Point demo will utilize UE5’s Nanite assets and Lumen real-time lighting.
“It will cover performance and memory observations of Xbox Series X and S, as well as VFX, blueprints, material settings, temporal super-resolution and virtual texture results,” the conference description explained.
The alliance will also show how it integrates the recently released Unreal Engine MetaHumans character creation kit into the demo.

The one-hour conference will be held on Tuesday, July 20, and all holders of the Access Pass, Core Pass, Summit Pass, Expo Pass, Audio Pass and Independent Game Summit Pass can participate.
Although this may not allow us to see the studio’s next game for the first time, The Coalition recently announced the switch to Unreal Engine 5. The team currently has multiple projects in development, so some of its experience will undoubtedly enter the future games of The Coalition.
