Gears Tactics has reached gold status and is ready for release later this month as planned. So despite Corona, fans don't have to be afraid of a possible shift. But this only applies to the PC and not the Xbox version.
Nothing stands in the way of the release of Gears Tactics. The game's developer, The Coalition, announced that the tactic offshoot of the successful action series has achieved gold status. This means that development of the game is complete and it will be released on April 28th as scheduled. Players do not have to worry about a shift, as was recently the case due to the Corona crisis in The Last of Us: Part II
However, the appointment only applies to the PC version. Xbox players will have to wait a little longer. The Xbox One version is slated for release later this year. In the same step, The Coalition announced a partnership with Intel: Buyers of an Intel Core i5 processor will receive a copy of Gears Tactics for free.

Gears Tactics is another part of the Gears of War series, but not a cover shooter. As the name suggests, players get a turn-based strategy game with Gears Tactics. Compared to other genre representatives like XCOM, Gears Tactics should play much faster and more aggressively. According to the developers, the campaign for the title is to have a playing time of around 40 hours.
