As you may have noticed, version 2.4 of Genshin Impact is available. It brings new characters, but also a new area, the island d’Enkanomiya

On the trail of the dragon and the snake

In order to complete this quest, you must first unlock access to the new area. When you are finished, continue with the main quest until you have unlocked the quest “In the footsteps of the dragon and the snake”.

You have to go to the islet of Temple of the Endless Night

When you get there, the first thing you will do is interact with the 3 lights on the floor that represent the traces of ” ‘Abyssal Elementosaurs.

This shows you a switch that cannot be used at the moment. Approach it and kill the enemies to activate it.

You then open a secret gateway. (Note: if the switch is not activated, interact with the mechanism next to it to switch from day to sleepless night).

Once inside, activate the switch on the left pillar, then the right pillar. Then look around the room for a base to switch to sleepless night.

Then enter the statue in the center 3 timesto move the wall to the right place, then activate the switch on left column.

The passage is then open. Go left and then up the stairs to get to a room with a sealed chest in the center. Kill the enemies that appear to complete this quest, the first of the 3 required to advance in the story.
