Of course, the long-running Genshin Impact will continue in 2023. The first content update of the new year has now received a concrete release date.
HoYoverse has also arrived in the new year 2023 and has now announced details of the next major content update for the long-running hit Genshin Impact. The new version 3.4 is called “Night of the crystal-clear string sound” and should be available for all players from January 18, 2023.
Among other things, the patch brings back the Lantern Ritual and a number of special rewards. This is joined by the brand new desert region in Sumeru, and the characters Alhaitham and Yaoyao, who will be playable for the first time.
From the official side, the highlights in version 3.4 are given as follows:
- Seasonal events including the traditional Liyue New Year lantern ritual
- New region “Desert of Hadramaveth” huge incessant tornado sits in the middle of the desert bringing secrets and new world quests
- New 5 Star Dendro Swordsman Alhaitham 4 Star Dendro Polearmer Yaoyao
- Limited-time game mode for the Ingenious Conjuration card game
- Free rewards including 13x Interwoven Destiny, Lisa’s new clothes, and a free 4-star figure
- Kamisato Ayaka’s new clothes are discounted in store for a limited time
