Genshin Impact Version 5.0 – The next major update will bring new areas to the game – It will be released worldwide on August 29In addition, for players keen on new content, new characters, Archon quests, events, and clever new mobility abilities are also on the way.
Genshin Impact players will be able to meet and interact with the various tribes that inhabit the new nation of Natlan and continue the overarching narrative of the HoYoverse’s largest game. As with all major version changes before it, version 5.0 will serve as the starting point for months of additional updates that will flesh out the story of the region and the new characters introduced with it.

The update will also introduce three new characters, all available via in-game banners. These characters include the five-star Mualani, four-star Kachina, and five-star Kinich. These characters will be spread over two phases, so hopefully you’ve been saving up for these three – they’ll be thrown back into the character pool for a while after their banners are gone.
As for those traversal abilities, they come in the form of various Saurin forms that you’ll unlock by advancing the main story. These Saurin forms include Tepetlisauras, which can burrow underground and climb cliffs, Yumkasauras, which can reach high places and cause explosions, and Koholasauras, which can swiftly travel through water and dangerous phlogiston liquids. They’re all pretty important, and they look pretty adorable, too.
On top of that, there are also various limited-time events, rewards for returning players to entice you to come back, new weapons, and more challenging world levels. In addition, the Artifact system is about to change, allowing you to better forge artifacts with the properties you want.
To experience all of this great new content, you’ll need to be at least Adventure Rank 28. If you’re already above that level, no worries! Just mark your calendars to get started later this month.
