We all want to forget about the infamous Batman y Robin directed by Joel Schumacher, but it is not an exclusive feeling of the public. George Clooney himself has stated on more than one occasion that he totally regrets having participated in one of the saddest superhero movies.
The actor already spoke in 2023 about how he rejects his work in the 1998 film, but now he wanted to clear up any doubts about it in the microphones of Entertainment Tonight. Clooney has been questioned about his fleeting appearance as one of the versions of Bruce Wayne in the film. The Flash and has stated that “there was an outcry about my rubber nipples and it was like: Can we do it without the rubber nipples? I was like ‘Well, it’s not really my Batman.’
Beyond the jokes about the unusual costume that the Dark Knight used in the production, the interpreter pointed out that “there are not enough drugs in the world” as if to convince him to put on the outfit once again. So, it seems that we will not see Clooney again around the DC universe, at least not in the role he had in the 90s.
The truth is that we have had several Batmans over the last decades. Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan shaped the most popular version of the character, although we have also seen Ben Affleck and Robert Pattinson wear the Gotham City bat cape.
