The latest list of Game Pass titles has been announced to end in May.
You can expect eight new titles to round out the month. These games are FIFA 23, The Exorcist of the East, Ghostlore, Lana Planet, Massive Chalice, Railway Empire 2 and Chicory: A Colorful Tale.
FIFA 23 is now available on PC and consoles via PC Game Pass and on Ultimate via EA Play.
Tomorrow, May 18, The Exorcist of the East is coming to consoles and PC. In this 2D side-scrolling action RPG, the fictional world of the East is filled with vicious demons and monsters. As a skilled exorcist, you will fight evil in this cruel world and experience the “unpredictable entanglement of complex creatures”. The hand-painted ink style looks like a cute game, even the tactical combat mechanism is hand-painted frame by frame.
Arriving alongside the above on May 18th is the console version of Ghostlore. Ghostlore, now available through PC Game Pass, is an east punk action RPG where you battle monsters from Southeast Asian folklore. Inspired by ARPGs like Diablo 2 and Titan Quest, the game features a detailed item and character customization system, a multi-class system, procedurally generated maps, and a cool 90s retro aesthetic.
One of the most anticipated indie games of 2023, Planet of Lana follows Lana and her loyal animal companion, May, on a mission to save Lana’s sister. It hits consoles and PC on May 23.
Cassette Beasts will be released for consoles on May 25th. Recently added to PC Game Pass, the game’s quest lets you collect monsters as you venture into the open-world RPG to use in turn-based combat.
Massive Chalice, a tactical strategy game from Double Fine Productions, is coming to consoles and clou on May 25. As the nation’s immortal ruler, you’ll command its heroes, forge marriages to strengthen your lineage, and fight a mysterious enemy known as Cadence in a 300-year war.
Another game coming to the cloud, consoles, and PC on May 25 is Railroad Empire 2. In it, you’ll grow your company into the continent’s largest railway company, connecting cities and companies through an ever-expanding network that will overtake your rivals’ railway lines, bridges and tunnels.
The final title for this month’s service is Chicory: Colorful Stories from the creators of Wandersong + Celeste. Coming to consoles and PC on May 30, this adorable top-down adventure game takes place in a coloring book world where you can draw anything. Use your drawing skills to explore new places, solve puzzles, help your friends, and change the world.
New games mean old games are leaving Game Pass.
Make sure to play the following five games before they leave: Europa Universalis, Evil Genius 2: World Domination, FIFA 21, Floppy Knights, and Lawn Mowing Simulator.
