In addition to The Last of Us: Part II, Ghost of Tsushima is one of the last big blockbusters of the PS4 era. However, interested people have to wait a little longer for the supposed top hit to be released than was planned last.

The spreading corona virus does not stop at Sony's plans, which led to a delay in the blockbuster The Last of Us: Part II by Naughty Dog. It is now clear that the release will be postponed from the end of May to mid-June – but the release collides with Ghost of Tsushima.
According to previous plans, the Far Eastern action hit for the PS4 should have been available from June 26th – and thus only a week later than The Last of Us: Part II according to the current status. Sony apparently wants to avoid that and also take into account the changing working conditions at Sucker Punch. Translated means: Ghost of Tsushima comes a little later due to Corona.
The open-world adventure is no longer supposed to start in June, but will appear – just like The Last of Us: Part II – around three to four weeks later. July 17, 2020 has been announced as the new release date.
"I would like to personally congratulate the two teams at Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch Productions on their success and thank them. We know that it is not easy to reach the finish line under these circumstances," said the statement in a statement today .
