With Ghost of Tsushima, the Sucker Punch development studio recently delivered another blockbuster – and the next project is obviously already in the works. It’s supposed to be an open world game.
Sucker Punch is intensifying work on the next game project after the hit Ghost of Tsushima – and it will again be an open-world title. This emerges from a new job advertisement from the developer studio.
A new writer is being sought and the ideal candidate has experience with “character-driven stories in an open-world game”. At least a sequel in the form of Ghost of Tsushima 2 seems possible, although such a thing is not mentioned by name.
But Sucker Punch has other interesting brands: Based on the description, a continuation of the Sly Cooper series does not necessarily seem to be meant here, although in the past there have been rumors of a comeback of the franchise. Incidentally, it could also be a new inFAMOUS; the action franchise is certainly conceivable as an open-world sequel.
Either way, Sucker Punch remains true to its core competency and will once again deliver a potential open-world hit. As soon as there is more information about this new project, you will of course find out about it on igamesnews! Until then, you can definitely hope for a Ghost of Tsushima 2.
