The highly anticipated PC version of Ghost of Tsushima has delighted many gamers and its high-quality port allows us to enjoy a poetic graphical punch with all the settings at full speed.
Already pampered by an excellent artistic direction in the PS4 version, Ghost of Tsushima is completely improved on PC. In addition to graphic settings that can be pushed to ultra and lush lighting effects, the port provided by Nixxes can also benefit from numerous mods that delight our eyes even more.
A great print dedicated to the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima
Much envied by players without PS4/PS5, Ghost of Tsushima has been a real hit on PC since its release on May 16th. It’s even the second most popular port of a Sony exclusive on Steam. As with Horizon Forbidden West, Nixxes is treating PC fans to a high-quality adaptation. Who says PC also means the ability to mod the game? That’s exactly what some fans have done to further enhance Sucker Punch’s already poetic depiction of feudal Japan.
One of them in particular allows the integration of ray tracing in Ghost of Tsushima. Another mod allows you to add global illumination, ambient occlusion or even volumetric fog to the title, among other things. Beyond Dreams shows us all this in a truly stunning 8K video. Be careful, however, because to achieve such a result you will inevitably need a particularly muscular configuration.
The YouTube channel actually reveals to us an RTX 4090, an Intel i7 14700K processor and 32 GB of RAM. A machine that is obviously not accessible to everyone, unless you are a great lord of feudal Japan. However, thanks to a particularly skilful optimization of this PC port, it is not necessary to have such a wealth of means to enjoy the poetic journey in the company of Jin Sakai on the island of Tsushima.
