For some reason, the Terminator will soon be visiting Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.

Mortal Kombat 11 and now also Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. Apparently there is a John Connor in many universes who is hunted by a terminator. From the end of this week, the killer machine from the future of the island of Auroa will pay a visit. A special event for this will start tomorrow, January 29th. Apart from that, the information situation is currently rather thin. Ubisoft announced the event with a short teaser trailer in which the typical time travel lightning storm from the "Terminator" films heralded the arrival of the robot.
It may be similar to the Predator event that took place in Ghost Recon: Wildlands in 2017. At that time the 30th anniversary of the film series was celebrated. Back then it was all about defeating the alien hunter.
In October, Ubisoft announced that it would massively revise Breakpoint in order to respond to the less than auspicious start. The Terminator event was hinted at the end of this four-month plan.
