Ghost Recon Breakpoint's immersive mode has been renamed the Ghost experience, and it will launch later this month.
As promised, Ghost action breakpoint Developer Ubisoft details the game's immersive mode in a new post. It has comprehensively improved many of the game's mechanics and has been renamed Ghost Experience.
Unfortunately, due to the shift in focus, developers chose to cancel the game's second raid. Nothing was disclosed about the raid, but it is planned to be released sometime this year. The good news is that Ghost Experience will have an updated title 2.0.0 on March 24th.
Ghost experience is essentially a set of pre-made difficulty options that removes equipment level limits, increases endurance and restores health limits, and allows players to equip any weapon they find, regardless of level. Essentially the Wildlands experience at Breakpoint.
The better news is that all the different parameters can be adjusted by the player for a more customized experience. So, for example, you can choose an actual damage model while maintaining the stability of other mechanisms. All of these options have been tweaked on the client and only affect your game.
It also means that each player in the party can have their own settings and still be able to play with others. Unfortunately, Breakpoint will continue to require a continuous Internet connection. Although you will not see any players in the main hub town (unless they are in your team), you still need to connect to the server.
However, developers will turn off the matching service for players with unstable Internet connections, which will greatly improve their connectivity.
This is exactly what Ghost Experience does and the difficulty settings you can adjust further:
- Gearless: Customize and retain the same weapons throughout the adventure. Quality level and project level are disabled.
- Reality robbery: Loot enemy weapon types and switch realistically. Equipment can be found in missions, rewards and chests.
- Number of main weapons: Choose to carry one or two main weapons. It has been pre-released in TU 1.1.0, but will be fully implemented through Ghost Experience.
- Ammunition reload loss: When replacing a magazine, the remaining ammunition will be lost.
- Endurance level: Adjust your physical strength.
- Number of bandages: Limit the number of bandages your Ghost can carry.
- Risk of injury: Select the frequency of injury when being damaged by enemy bullets.
- Healthy regeneration: Choose to restrict, delete or increase your healthy regeneration.
- New HUD settings: Use the new settings to minimize the smallest map, minimize the loot notification and minimize the 3D loot to fine-tune your favorite HUD.
- Private mode: Only encounter story characters and your direct partners in Erewhon.
- Enter Maria's Store: Keep access to the Maria Store in Bivouacs, or restrict it to Erewhon only.
In addition to Ghost Experience, the 2.0.0 update will bring a delayed engineer course and a complete second episode of the game narrative, called "Deep State." Ubisoft touched on other ongoing projects based on player feedback, and you can see the full list on Reddit.
