Wireless mowing area limitation

Instead of cables, which not only represent obstacles but also tripping hazards, the GOAT G1-2000 uses beacons. These are small antennas that you can use to mark mowing areas wirelessly. These are recognized by the robotic lawnmower and can be used to orientate itself.

This eliminates the risk of tangling and tripping. In addition, cables cannot break if they don’t exist in the first place. So you can let the Ecovacs GOAT G1-2000 do the work while you concentrate on other things.

Stress-free route planning

Having to do next to nothing to maintain your garden is also made possible by intelligent route planning. After you have set up to 16 mowing areas and exclusion zones via the app, the Ecovacs GOAT G1-2000 plans the routes itself.

Of course, you can also create routes yourself, have them suggested and assign the robotic lawnmower to a certain area with a click. This is intended to ensure even, efficient mowing without unwanted, missed spots – even without your intervention.

Cameras are also used to detect obstacles. You can use this app in the video manager to monitor your garden. However, this requires a strong Wi-Fi signal in the garden. If this is the case, you will always have a view of your garden from anywhere.

A quick comparison between G1-800 and G1-2000

The different names of the two GOAT G1s give an indication of the size of the lawn. While the G1-800 is designed for 800 square meters, the G1-2000 has a huge 2,000 square meters. The G1-2000 should be able to process up to 7,000 square meters per week compared to the 2,800 square meters of the G1-800.

The G1-2000 also has 4G, i.e. mobile communications in addition to Wi-Fi. This enables a connection even in places in the garden that are not covered by your WiFi, which can often happen with up to 2,000 square meters of mowing area.

With 30 percent more teeth on the wheels, the G1-2000 has improved grip. This allows it to overcome gradients of up to 45 percent. The garage designed specifically for the G1-2000 is also included as standard. For the G1-800, suitable accessories can be purchased separately and individually.
