Goat Simulator Remastered – Yes, as the name suggests, this is a remake of the original Goat Simulator from 2014 – developer Coffee Stain has just revealed it at the Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live event, and it will be released later this year.

The remaster follows the recently released massive “Nonsense Multiverse” DLC for Goat Simulator 3, and will include all of the expansion packs from the original Goat Simulator PC version, from Goat MMO to Goat Z, and even the sci-fi-themed “Waste of Space” pack. The “Going to School” DLC, which was previously exclusive to the mobile version of Goat Simulator, is also included.

“Get ready to travel back to 2014, when times were simpler and everyone just wanted to be a goat,” said Joel Rydholm, Producer at Coffee Stain, about the game. “Goat Simulator Remastered is launching on the 10th anniversary of the original game, and we’re excited to celebrate by bringing back the inspiration behind Goat Simulator 2 and 3, giving fans the chance to relive beloved goat memories with gorgeous new graphics and improvements.”

In line with the last point, and with all the DLC included, the remaster has had the variables reworked so you no longer have to restart the game to change the goat model, and as Coffee Stain puts it: “New and improved visuals, updated textures, beautiful new lighting, and some brand new foliage – like nobody asked for.”
