Lately, the God of War license has been attracting particular attention thanks to its two great latest works on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. But before Kratos became a bitter old man with a beard and a large axe, he was a brutal and merciless warlord of Sparta. This exact version could well return without PS Plus Premium.

Kratos will soon celebrate his 20th birthday
Let’s look at the last two works of the saga God of warwe quickly realize that Kratos is an adult who has lived at least several decades, or even longer if we take into account his immortality status. However, the god of war will hardly celebrate his twentieth birthday next year. All Greek God of War on PS Plus Premium in 2025?
But as God of War celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025, the opportunity seems perfect to bring back the Kratos of yesteryear. We already spoke to you about this a few weeks ago, there are already rumors about the potential Collection of remasters of the entire opus of the Greek saga, namely the first three God of War as well as the games Chains of Olympus, Ghost of Sparta and Ascension, all three released on PSP and/or PS3. Currently it is not possible to play all of these games via the PS Plus Premium. While a few years ago they were present in the subscription but only used cloud gaming, they were removed some time ago.
Lately, however a new advertising image for PS Plus Premium appeared in the menus of the PlayStation we see Kratos at the time of his Greek epic. Sure, this may not mean anything, but let’s just say that as the 20th anniversary of the saga approaches, it’s a bit fishy. Some are already assuming that Sony could take advantage of this, since native PS2 emulation is finally possible through PS Plus Premium Reintegrate all God of War games from this console into the catalog to finally be able to enjoy it without switching to cloud gaming. We’d prefer a real collection of quality remasters here, but you’ll need to arm yourself with some patience before you can be sure.
