God of War: Ragnarok appears to be releasing soon as it gets a rating in Korea

appears, God, Korea, Ragnarok, Rating, releasing, War

The helpful South Korean rating board responsible for many video game leaks has officially rated the highly anticipated God of War: Ragnarok. The ratings posted today are based on applications submitted last week.

The ratings page mentions the usual caveats, such as foul language, drug use, and all the other themes that make the sequel unsuitable for minors — not surprising given the 2018 game.

Sadly, there is no release date for this rating. That said, the fact that a game has been rated means its content is complete. In other words, developer Sony Santa Monica has likely been refining and improving on what’s already available over the past few months.

Usually, official news tends to follow with ratings from the Korean Rating Board. Considering we just received a blog post about Ragnarok’s accessibility features, it’s fair to say that more substantial news is coming.

Sony didn’t share specific plans for a summer event, but we’ll likely get State of Play in June or July, and God of War: Ragnarok would be a good candidate. Last time we heard, the game was still slated for release this year.

God of War: Ragnarok will be the second and final game in the new saga, originally conceived as a trilogy.

thanks, Neberion.
