In its first week on the market, it outsold Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Elden’s Ring, and Pokémon: Arceus.
Again, this only applies to UK retail, as digital download figures won’t be released until next week.
According to GfK (thanks to GI.biz), Ragnarok outsold God of War (2018) by 51% in first week sales and is now the third best-selling game in the series and second in terms of revenue.
Elsewhere in the UK’s GfK rankings, Modern Warfare 2 dropped 39% to second place. It is followed by FIFA 23 in third place.
Sonic Frontiers ranks fourth with 40% of retail sales on PS5, 34% on Nintendo Switch, 14% on Xbox, and 12% on PS4.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is fifth, Nintendo Switch Sports sixth, Horizon: Forbidden West re-enters the top 10 at seventh, Splatoon 3 eighth, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Minecraft respectively Occupies the 9th and 10th positions.
