Godfall once made a name for itself above all because it was the first announced real PS5 game. Now the looter slasher could come on another console.
Update: PS4 implementation now officially confirmed (13.06.2021 – 8:24 a.m.)
The looter-slasher Godfall, which has so far been available exclusively on PC and PS5, is indeed coming to the PlayStation 4. On the occasion of E3, Gearbox has now nailed it and officially announced a corresponding version for August. Those interested can mark themselves August 10th in red in the calendar.
In addition to the PS4 version, there will also be a free update for PC and PS5, which includes the “Fire & Darkness” expansion. This offers new experiences and cosmetic items.

Original message: Looter-Slasher is probably coming for another console (April 26th, 2021 – 8:51 am)
With the release of the PlayStation 5, the looter slasher Godfall was also released for the new Sony console; In addition, the action title was also released for the PC, but that’s about it for the moment. That in turn could change in the near future, because apparently another console version is on the plan.
At least that suggests a new age classification of the European PEGI. Godfall was also judged there for the older PlayStation 4. The date given was April 23, which had already passed; this has not been confirmed, but for that very reason a publication is unlikely to be long in coming.
Developer Counterplay Games announced Godfall at The Game Awards 2019. The game was to be reserved exclusively for the PS5 and PC platforms (in the Epic Games Store) for six months. This exclusivity expires on May 12, 2021 and could pave the way for release on PS4.
An official announcement of a PS4 version of the game, which did not necessarily garner the best reviews, is still pending from both Counterplay Games and Sony for the moment.
