Golf on the go
This year, the pay-TV provider Sky will once again be broadcasting the major golf tournaments. In addition to the US Masters, US Open, “The Open Championship” and the PGA Championship, there are exclusive tournaments that you can only watch on Sky.
Classic Golf Championships
This year’s golf season started with the PGA Championship in the USA, the highlights of which are still available on demand in the Sky media library. If you want to be there live, you can stream the last men’s major in July on Sky, when the clubs are swung again as part of “The Open Championship”.
One of the five major tournaments in the women’s world of golf also starts in the summer: At the Amundi Evian Championship, athletes from all over the world compete against each other on the golf course. Sky streams the matches exclusively on the respective sports channels. Sky also holds the broadcasting rights to the Chevron Championship, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, the US Women’s Open and the AIG Women’s Open. Sky’s offering now covers all major tournaments.
With this model you are there
In order to enjoy all the live broadcasts or the highlights from the streams, you need the Sky sports subscription. You can easily book this in addition to your entertainment package. For this, you pay a total of 25 dollars per month for an annual subscription, with the price increasing to 28 dollars from the 13th month. Alternatively, you can book the Sky complete package for 35 dollars per month (44.50 dollars from the 13th month), which also allows you to stream the Bundesliga live.
If you are already an existing Sky customer, you can also add the sports package for a small additional charge. This means you don’t have to cancel your old Sky subscription to take out a new one with Sky Sport.
