Well, it looks like someone from Arrowhead has finally stepped up to give the Hellraiser 2 community a clear answer as to whether people abandoning their businesses because they were only interested in farming actually contributed to the loss of Super Earth, hopefully that helps An end to anarchy and heresy.
If you’re unaware, now that the game’s servers are running just fine, a large portion of the gaming community seems to have turned its attention to the issue of some players performing certain missions over and over again to obtain certain missions. award. As we reported yesterday, there’s a lot of confusion over whether this approach will actively hinder other players’ efforts to capture planets and achieve the game’s main goals.

As a follow up to a series of posts that basically try to beg and/or threaten people into not just struggling with tasks like getting XP and application forms, the latest post is at the top of the gaming Reddit subreddit Soared one developer’s comment on the game’s Reddit subreddit about what abandonment actually does. “Yeah, I only did half of it and then quit. [operation] Counted as a loss to Super Earth,” a response from Arrowhead developer Evil-Bosse read.
Given that it was posted in response to someone asking how a failed or abandoned operation affects the instrumentation related to planetary objectives, this seems like a no-brainer, right? Here’s the thing – it looks like it’s not right.
Earlier today, a member of the Arrowhead community and support team who goes by the username Misty responded to another comment on the game’s official Discord server regarding farming issues. “I just got confirmation that abandoning operations does not increase enemy percentages,” they said, “so people leaving operations don’t have a negative impact on the planet. But they don’t have a positive impact either.”
In response to a request for evidence, they said: “[the] The proof is me, from within Slack” In fact, Evil-Bosse has now posted a response to someone quoting their original comment: “I could be wrong” and I’m definitely leaning towards believing Misty. That said, for the sake of thoroughness, we iGamesNews has personally contacted Arrowhead to try and double check.
The bigger issue here seems to be that if the game was a little more literal in the way it communicated things like giving up or the consequences of a failed action, we might be able to avoid the likes of this weird toxic nonsense in the future. Arrowhead has had a lot of work going on lately, but hopefully it will be able to add some additional tutorials on some key mechanics at some point in the future.
