Those eagerly awaiting Fallout Season 2 may be pleased to hear that it’s apparently airing “early.”
Earlier this week, the nominations for this year’s Emmy Awards were revealed, and Fallout received an impressive 16 nominations. So, it’s no surprise if this reminded you of how good the show is and left you wanting more. Unfortunately, like all good things, you’ll have to wait for season 2 to arrive – at least it’s been confirmed, but it’s widely believed that it’ll take a while for it to be released. Interestingly enough, in a recent interview with Variety, Amazon TV head Vernon Sanders and Amazon MGM Studios head Jennifer Salke talked about the show and said that season 2 is progressing very well.

“I think we’re ahead of schedule for season two. We haven’t set an exact start date yet, but we’ve got the scripts and I think the fans of season one are going to love it.” This was in response to a question about whether the show would be an anthology and whether there would be a new set of characters in season two. Salke explained: “We are committed to taking this journey with our favorite characters. Season two is going to be amazing.”
“I’ve seen some discussion about, is this an anthology? It does have a lot of territory we can explore, and that’s the beauty of the IP. But we’re all in, and we’re all going to go on this journey with the characters that we met and loved in season one.”
Variety also asked if there was any update on the God of War live-action adaptation, and Salke simply said, “Stay tuned! We love God of War,” so no news. The Horizon live-action series that was announced at the same time as the God of War show, but was made for Netflix, appears to have been canceled, though this may only be temporary due to the allegations against the show’s producer Steve Blackman.
