Google Tasks have been available for a few weeks now Standalone desktop view of Google Calendar available. This gives Google Tasks a similar view on your PC as it does on the since 2018 Available mobile apps for Android and iPhone.
Previously, Google Tasks was available as an optional extra in Gmail or Google Drive. What’s new is that you can access the function for creating and managing tasks full-screen on your desktop PC.
The large view should be accessible to everyone who has a personal Google account.

You can access Google Tasks independently with just a few clicks. Find out how it works below.
The prerequisite for access is that you have logged in with your Google account.
➡️ Step 1: At the top right, click on the square icon with three rows of three dots (“Google Apps”).
➡️ Step 2: In the drop-down menu that now opens, click on “Calendar”.
➡️ Step 3: Once in the calendar view, you can switch back and forth between calendar and task view using the double button.

How can you create different lists in Google Tasks? A pleasant convenience feature is the ability to create different lists for your tasks. Once you have arrived in the main view, you can select existing lists and create new ones.
Such lists can be helpful if you are working on different projects (e.g. “current projects,” “household,” “friends & family,” “vacation planning,” or similar).
