The game streaming service Stadia certainly had a far from excellent start, also because many announced features were missing and some platforms were initially not supported. Now Google is making improvements.
Shortly before the Christmas break, Google touched up again regarding Stadia and has now published another update for the game streaming service. As a result, the service is now also supported on another platform.
In this context, we are talking about the company's own Chromecast Ultras. Contrary to the previous announcement, only devices that were purchased as part of the Founder's Edition from Stadia were supported at the start of the service. If you already had a Chromecast Ultra, you first looked into the tube.
If you have access to Stadia already, we have some good news to share. We have rolled out an update to existing Chromecast Ultras that allow them to work with Stadia. Grab your Stadia Controller, sync it to any Chromecast Ultra & start playing on an additional TV in your house.

Thanks to the new update, however, all Chromecast Ultra owners can now start using Stadia – a feature that was actually expected when the game streaming service was largely unsuccessful. In the future, new players could take a subscription, especially since Google Stadia players also donate an additional buddy pass that they can give away to friends.
The initially manageable game line-up was recently supplemented by three current titles. However, there were negative headlines again because the version of Borderlands 3 available at Stadia is not up to date and is noticeably outdated.
