The game streaming service Google Stadia may not have got off to the best start, but it is trying to establish itself further on the market and to constantly improve. In order to grow, new platforms have to be developed – and now there are a number of new smartphones, especially the Samsung Galaxy series.
Google wants to win more players as subscribers with the game streaming service Stadia and hopes to grow by opening up additional platforms. As the company now confirmed in a press release, a whole series of other Android smartphones will soon be officially supported.
While owners of a Google Pixel 2, 3, or 4 have been able to stream their (supported) favorite games on their smartphones since the service was launched last year, the new update on February 20th now brings a number of Android smartphones from Samsung , Razer and Asus. Also included is the brand new S20 line of the Samsung Galaxy, but also a number of other popular models.
Officially, the list of newly supported devices reads as follows:
- Samsung Galaxy S8
- Samsung Galaxy S8 +
- Samsung Galaxy S8 Active
- Samsung Galaxy Note8
- Samsung Galaxy S9
- Samsung Galaxy S9 +
- Samsung Galaxy Note9
- Samsung Galaxy S10
- Samsung Galaxy S10E
- Samsung Galaxy S10 +
- Samsung Galaxy Note10
- Samsung Galaxy Note10 +
- Samsung Galaxy S20
- Samsung Galaxy S20 +
- Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra
- Razer Phone

Stadia will then support a total of more than 20 different Android devices. In addition, the service can also be used on laptops, desktop PCs, selected TV sets and via Google Chromecast Ultra.
