The next adventure in the Batman universe is about to begin with Gotham Knights. Now the makers have finally confirmed the long-awaited specific release date.
Gotham Knights will be a new action role-playing game in the Batman universe from WB Games Montreal and, above all, relies on an open game world in which you can let off steam with the entire Batman family. Now it is clear when you can actually do that.
What the game has been planning for this year so far, there is now a release date in autumn: You will be able to get started on October 25, 2022, as Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment confirmed today. Just a year ago, the publisher had to announce that the title would be postponed to 2022, but today’s announcement is far more gratifying. Incidentally, no further new information was shared with the title.
Gotham Knights also includes Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin and Red Hood as playable characters. They have to deal with Mr. Freeze and the conspiracy of the Court of Owls. The campaign will also be able to be completed with two people in a cooperative multiplayer.
The title was originally announced at DC FanDome 2020. The release is planned for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
