Gaming News Gran Turismo: This free version of the PS5 exclusive title could arrive sooner than expected
Last September, Sony began announcing its plans for the PlayStation's 30th anniversary. The company announced new products and accessories, but also a free version of an exclusive PS4-PS5 version of a well-known franchise.

Who doesn't like it free? As part of PlayStation's 30th anniversary celebration, PS5 and PS4 users are being offered a free version of Gran Turismo 7 during the holiday season. “Expect a free-to-play experience designed to delight players of all skill levels with the critically acclaimed Gran Turismo 7. This upcoming release will feature some of the cars, tracks and events that will make you nostalgic for your childhood's first GT experience“, explained the Japanese company. So we can understand that in this message Sony wants to attract as many people as possible by offering a free version of its flagship opus.

However, the free version may be released sooner than expected. Our colleagues at Gematsu noticed that a game called My First GT has just been registered by the Taiwanese classification authority. In most cases, this allows you to anticipate the release of a game. Although no release date has been announced, rumors and fans unanimously believe that My First GT will be released on December 3rd. In fact, this day coincides perfectly with the PlayStation's birthday. However, if the game doesn't release on that date, we could potentially have news before the Game Awards 2024 in mid-December.
A game widely praised by fans
The franchise can count on its still numerous fans to welcome this new free content. When Gran Turismo 7 releases in March 2022, The work grossed more dollars in the month of its release in the United States than any other game in the series. Thanks to this performance, it even entered the top 20 highest-earning titles on American soil.
Last week GT7 released its update 1.54 Five new free cars, three events, a new wheel brand and the Colorado destination for Scapes photo mode. Players can also access an extra menu called #42: Ferrari Speciale. We are therefore waiting for new information about the free version and its features.
