Paradox Interactive provides October 25 release date Victoria 3.
This profound socioeconomic and political sim is set in the 19th century, a time of technological and social upheaval.
You are not only responsible for feeding a growing population, but also meeting their political demands to increase or maintain power. To do this, you will need to pass legal and social reforms to reflect the wishes of your citizens, or try to “impose a brighter future” on a country that may not appreciate your forward-thinking approach.
In the game, you will rewrite the history of dozens of countries in the Victorian era. These included Britain, Prussia, Russia, Qing China, Japan, and even the Canadian colonies.
Every inhabitant of your country is simulated, be it a farmer or a clerk, a capitalist or a craftsman, each with personal beliefs, political preferences and a standard of living to maintain. To help your citizens, you need to grow your economy w ith new industries and institutions, trade surplus goods on the world market, and import anything your citizens may need to survive.
When it comes to foreign relations, of course, you can go to war – but know that you can also solve problems at the negotiating table. If you get into trouble, you can call on allies for support, or even make demands on weaker or hostile nations.
Laws and reforms in your country will help you manage various political factions, and as you play, the map will change dramatically as new railroads run between booming cities – many of which were decades ago Just a small village.
