There are regular free games for the PC in the Epic Games Store, currently Death Coming, for example. From tomorrow, according to a new rumor, there could be one of the biggest blockbusters of all time for free: Grand Theft Auto V!

Update: In the meantime, the official Twitter presence of the Epic Games Store confirmed in a tweet that GTA V will be available there free of charge from today. If you download the title by May 21, you can keep it for free. Said tweet has now been removed again, but saved screenshots of it are in circulation. The final official announcement is therefore expected later today.

Grand Theft Auto V is considered the best-selling game of all time, if you haven't hit the PC yet, you may be able to reserve tomorrow's Thursday. In the evening of this weekday, the Epic Games Store usually launches the latest free PC offers – and according to a new rumor, tomorrow it will be Rockstar Games' blockbuster.
The English-speaking colleagues at gamepressure.com got leaked; This is currently not possible to verify – as is usual with rumors. If in doubt, you should enjoy your anticipation with a corresponding question mark and with caution.
That would fit to the extent that Epic Games has not yet announced the new offer and is only talking about a "mystery game". The next free offers in the in-house store are otherwise always confirmed a week in advance.

For their part, the colleagues confidently speak of a "very well-informed source", according to which GTA V should be free in the Epic Games Store from May 14 to 21. It should explicitly be a full premium edition of the title. In this context, Rockstar Games could bet on winning more players for GTA Online after more than 100 million sales of the full version and generating new sales.
