Since the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, things have been a little out of breath again, but that hasn’t stopped fans from starting their own actions. So the trailer has now been completely recreated with real-life scenes and you have to see it.
It’s quite funny. Many scenes in the GTA 6 trailer are based on real scenes that have been making the rounds on social media, for example, or on (sur)real characters like Florida Joker, the rock star who wants to pull a lot of money out of the piggy bank, but also has a role would be enough in the game.
YouTuber Andrew Levitt has now gone the opposite way and recreated the GTA 6 trailer complete with real scenes. He used his own material, the social media scenes referenced in the trailer as well as material from Primecutpro, all of course garnished with the original song “Love Is a Long Road” by Tom Petty.
The result, as you can see, is extremely impressive, and Levitt also included a behind-the-scenes video that shows the work and effort behind the video.
Levitt probably won’t reach the 185 million views of the original trailer, but he is more than certain to be a hit with GTA fans. However, GTA 6 is also considered the most anticipated new video game and probably the most important title of the current gaming generation. However, the bar is also high given the immense sales of its predecessor, which still appears in the top 10 of the sales charts, several years after the original release for PS3 and Xbox 360. GTA 5 was first released in September 2013.
When we’ll finally get to see the game is still completely unclear at the moment. Originally scheduled for 2025, there are already a lot of rumors about further postponements, even if Rockstar is apparently really giving it a go when it comes to production and has even called the staff back to the regular office from their home offices, which doesn’t exactly indicate that Rockstar is out of a previous crunch -scandals learned.
