Arcane had all the ingredients coming together to make it one of Netflix’s highlights, but no one expected such a tidal wave. The animated series opened the League of Legends universe to the general public while establishing itself as one of the essential parts of the platform. After three years of waiting, the first three episodes of season two will be available in the early hours of this Saturday, November 9th. Apparently, Riot Games will celebrate the return of its series with great fanfare and Valorant players will be able to secure free content.
Free arcane content in Valorant
Just a little sleep before Jinx, Vi and Caitlyn show up for the rest of their adventures. To mark the occasion, Riot Games will launch a series of celebrations across all of its games. At the same time, this Saturday on Twitch, the studio will broadcast the first episode of the second season of Arcane, as well as a series of interviews, some excerpts and much more during a countdown. The event will primarily be an opportunity for players to collect free content for their favorite games, starting with Valorant. If you watch the special streams to mark the start of this season, you’ll be able to catch two cards dedicated to Vi and Jinx, as well as graffiti related to the series’ theme. It will be possible to get your hands on these Twitch Drops in two phases:
When will you receive this free content?
- November 9th at 8amFrench time: The countdown to the international release of the series begins broadcasting on the channel Twitch by Riot Games and partner streamers. Watch for 30 minutes to get the special Vi player card.
- November 9th at 9 a.m., French time: Arcane Season 2 Episode 1 will air on Riot Games’ Twitch channel and partner channels. Watch for 30 minutes to get the special Vi player card for Valorant.
- November 16th to 23rd : Activation of Twitch Drops on partner channels. Watch the stream for 1 hour to get the special Jinx player card.
As always, you might as well leave the stream on without watching and go back to bed. However, you need to make sure you have linked your Valorant account with Twitch to receive these lovely gifts. In addition to this free content, there will be a paid pack available in the Valorant Store from November 7th at 11pm until December 5th at 11pm.
