On February 22nd, the PS VR 2 will hit PS5 owners (for those who pre-ordered it) and the virtual reality headset should be the subject of a lavish launch. More than thirty games will be available, but the head of the gondola will undoubtedly be the very spectacular Horizon Call of the Mountain. Well that’s good, we just got news from the Guerrilla Games studio and the game is ready to go!
With a little tweet, the Guerrilla Studio just announced the GOLD passage of the PS VR 2 game! With that, prospects have marked the end of development for Horizon: Call of the Mountain, which is excellent news for all future owners of Sony’s VR headset.
Along with the end of the PS5 shortage (yes, yes, that’s what Sony says and it’s confirmed by resellers), this spin-off of the Horizon license should come as a nice surprise! The developers actually decided to forgo the beautiful Aloy to focus on a brand new character, Ryas. As a repentant soldier of the Carja tribe, he must prove he’s on the right side of the fence by completing a quest that may well uncover the existence of a new threat. Meanwhile, the character has to meet many protagonists and build a relationship of trust in order to receive the necessary help.
The PS VR 2, Sony’s new technological banger?
The PlayStation VR 2 is a significant evolution of the PS5 ecosystem and promises a significant boost over the first model. 4K resolution, dual OLED screens, 110° field of view, refresh rate up to 120Hz, eye tracking, headset vibration system… Sony’s next virtual reality headset has it under the hood! And of all the games available on February 22nd, Horizon Call of the Mountain will be one if it’s THE technological showcase for the accessory – apart from the fact that it’s probably a very good game. Ryas’ Adventure is designed for the functionality of the new helmet and promises incredible moments of climbing, hunting and exploring. We drool in advance!
