In March 2022, Disney+ will once again be expanding its range with a number of titles. Fans of the medical series Grey’s Anatomy can look forward to the 18th season of the hit series coming to the adult section Star. The new episodes offer Meredith Gray (Ellen Pompeo) new challenges and a chance at love. In the fictional world of Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital, even the corona pandemic is over.
Meredith receives a job offer from Dr. David Hamilton (“Grace and Frankie” star Peter Gallagher), who wants her on his team at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. There, Meredith is to research the cure for Parkinson’s disease, which affects David himself. She accepts the offer and spends a lot of time away from Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital. The wedding of Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Teddy (“24” star Kim Raver) also takes place in Seattle, which is overshadowed by tragedy.
New to Seattle, Addison Montgomery (“The Umbrella Academy” star Kate Walsh) is hired at Gray Sloan. You’ll also see familiar faces again with Megan Hunt (Abigail Spencer) and Nick Marsh (Scott Speedman). Nick reunites with Meredith during her time in Minnesota. The two date and begin a relationship. Meredith also hands over management of the apprenticeship program to Richard (James Pickens Jr.) because otherwise she would be too busy. Difficult patients, strokes of fate and operations are on the agenda.
If you are not a fan of the doctor series, you can find out more about other new features on Disney+ at Netzwelt. The Netflix new releases and the new releases on Amazon Prime Video also provide you with good streaming tips.
