After the takeover by EA, Codemasters announced GRID Legends, the first game to appear under the publisher’s flag. We’ll tell you the first details.
With GRID Legends, Codemasters wants to play the well-known strengths of the brand again in a new part and offer you thrilling motorsport action as well as a large variety of races. This time, this should also be combined with a captivating story, so that you can expect more than just traditional routes and street circuits. There is also a new Race Creator that lets you choose vehicles from mixed classes with which you can race across the racetracks. There are courses in London and Moscow, among others.
The GRID World Series, which puts you at the center of the documentary, is celebrating a comeback. Every moment on and off the track is captured here. The drivers get combative personalities, internal team policy plays a role and you will be confronted with the infamous Ravenwest Motorsport team. The outsider saga wants to cast its spell over you with a well-known cast around the British actor Ncuti Gatwa (including Sex Education).
The new driver personality AI is designed to ensure unpredictable races. 130 routes are on board, including Brands Hatch and Indianapolis or street circuits such as San Francisco and Paris. In terms of vehicle technology, there are over 100 upgradeable bolides, ranging from classic touring cars to big rigs and single-seaters to stadium trucks.
GRID Legends will be released in 2022 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC as well as for Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5. The first trailer for today’s announcement is attached for you:
