Game news GRID Legends: With the ground under your feet, Codemasters presents an exciting pilot experience
As part of EA Play Live on July 22nd, Codemasters got the ball rolling by unveiling a new motorsport experience that’s as thrilling as it is immersive, with storytelling pride of place in a neat story mode.
With this new project, Codemasters decided to ensure the show by starting a frantic race – it is the case to bring it to the players an unparalleled piloting experience with precise gameplay that delivers soaring driving sensations.
In a multidisciplinary way, GRID Legends takes many types of vehicles with it: hypercars, muscle cars, trucks, …: there are more than a hundred available. Special races created by a race editor, even allows you to face them on the same route, traditional or urban.
So a multitude of modes of transport that roar at full speed in the cities of London, Moscow, Paris and San Francisco, to name a few. There are more than 130 laps around the world waiting for you.
But as announced above, GRID Legends went over the top to create an engaging story mode. If he follows the usual tone of an outsider who gradually overshadows a hypercompetitive team, the game promises us an original virtual production, supported by the presence of award-winning British actor Ncuti Gatwa, who appeared on the Sex Education series on Netflix.
Through the GRID World Series, Players are brought to the fore by a documentary that manages to capture every moment for enhanced immersion. The drivers will therefore have a lot to do with the strong personalities they meet, the internal team policy and the many rivalries between the car teams.
GRID Legends is aiming for a release window sometime in 2022 on Xbox Series X | S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
