PUBG’s success in 2017 marked the start of a spate of battle royale games. Another is to appear soon with Grit. This wants to stand out from the crowd, especially with its unusual setting and send you to the Wild West like Red Dead Redemption 2.

Grit wants to mix Battle Royale and the Wild West
Special features in the Wild West
The basic game principle of Grit is now known: a large number of players, here it will be exactly 100, starts on a huge map and the last survivor wins. So far, so normal. The setting of Grit should, however, bring other special features with it.
Fight on horseback: Instead of vehicles, there are horses with which you can move faster through the world. They offer additional storage space for the items that you will find in the course of a round.
Perks for other play styles: You will also collect poker cards that give you various bonuses as well as deductions. Depending on which deck of cards you go into battle with, you have to adapt your style of play accordingly.
No hit scan: All weapons in grit use projectiles. This means that you have to pay attention to their trajectory when shooting. So it should be much harder than in many other games to hit targets that are moving.
Wild West duels: Whoever blesses the temporal also has a chance to get back into the action – through a duel. So very similar to the Gulags in CoD Warzone, but as a classic Wild West showdown.

When does grit appear?
Grit does not currently have an exact release date. The early access phase is scheduled for the spring of 2021 start on Steam, so it should be in a few weeks. However, the developer is aiming for the full release September 2021 on. Above all, the final version should offer more progression systems and activities.
