The YouTube channel Digital Dreams shows us how incredibly good GTA 5 can look if you take modding to the extreme in the video above these lines. The result is proverbial to melt away – something that could possibly happen with the graphics card.
The video offers: Various mods around textures, ray tracing shaders, global lighting and authentic vehicles turn the now seven-year-old gangster adventure into a graphic bomb that in this form does not have to hide from current games.
The full power of the mods is particularly evident in the reflections: Neon signs and other light sources are realistically reflected in puddles and are distorted by the shiny paint on the cars. The tiny waves in the water accumulations on the street provide an even more authentic picture, especially in the night scenes.
High resolution: The impressive visual quality of the video is also ensured by the fact that you can watch it in 1440p and even in 4K. The graphics requirements of the complete mod package should be enormous: If you want to play GTA 5 with these mods in this quality at high frame rates, you need powerful hardware.
Digital Dreams used the following specs for the video, which you have to be able to afford first:
- Graphics card: MSi Armor GTX1080TI 11 Gb
- Processor: Ryzen 7 1800X 4.2 Ghz
- RAM: 32 GB RAM
