Rockstar Games wants to put together the best possible soundtrack for GTA 6. The company is said to have secured these music licenses.
One of the biggest games of the next few years will undoubtedly be GTA 6, which fans have been waiting for for more than ten years. In addition to a gripping story and great graphics, fans of the brand also expect a convincing soundtrack.
In the last GTA games, the radio stations that can be heard in cars and play well-known songs from music history have always been popular. Most likely the radio stations will also be available in GTA 6 and according to the X user “@Matheusbr9895_Rockstar is said to have secured licenses for the following songs:
- Come Undone – Duran Duran
- The Promise – When in Rome
- Private Eyes – Daryl Hall & John Oates
- Save your Tears – The Weekend
- Hold me now – Thompson Twins
- If you Leave – Remastered 2019
- Strangelove – Depeche Mode
- Late night Talking – Harry Styles
- Bette Davies Eyes – Kim Carnes
- Shattered Dreams – John hates Jazz
- Malibu – Hole
Consider this a rumor for now, as Rockstar Games hasn’t announced the soundtrack for GTA 6 yet, and even if the songs above appear in the game, it’s only a part of the game’s entire music repertoire. There will be far more songs to be heard.
A song can also be heard in the first GTA 6 trailer, which is now likely to be streamed even more on streaming services such as Spotify than before the video was released due to the prominent nature of the game.
GTA 6 will be released in 2025 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S; a PC version has not yet been announced.
