A reliable leaker has bad news for GTA fans: According to him, GTA 6 will be a long time coming.
It should be a few more years before GTA 5 gets its sequel. Only recently was it assumed that GTA 6 would be released soon after Rockstar Games was said to have been looking for game testers for its offices in Edinburgh and India, now another well-known leaker is crushing fans’ hopes.
The Twitter user Okami is dampening the anticipation and claims that it would be at least four to five years before GTA 6 appears. It would be shocking to him if the next installment in the series was completed before 2025. A publication for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One would be as good as impossible. A cross-gen release for the next generation of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S seems much more likely.

Okami can look back on some correct predictions in the past. So he knew ahead of time the title of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and a lot of information about Warzone.
Since an official statement from Rockstar Games is anything but likely, this possible leak is, as usual, nothing more than a rumor for the time being.
