GTA Online PC players can look forward to a comprehensive technology upgrade in this version of the game. In addition, further new content is planned for the long-running hit.
While the video game world is waiting for GTA 6, GTA Online continues to enjoy great popularity. The long-running hit will be even better on the PC in the future, as Rockstar Games has now announced a comprehensive technology upgrade for this version of the game.
A performance upgrade for the PC version should be released in early 2025. Then the PC version will finally receive the improved features that were previously found on the newer PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Specifically, there will be ray tracing and improved resolutions, among other things. The visibility should also be expanded, texture details should be finer and the traffic in the game should also become denser.
The PC upgrade does not yet have a specific release date for next year, but there is also news regarding the content. In December, Rockstar Games will release another update across all platforms that will bring fresh raids. These revolve around the Darnell Bros Fermentation Factory and its new management. With the help of Pavel and a former FBI officer, you have to complete various infiltration missions; further details on this will follow in due course.
GTA Online is still available for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. Are you still there? The last major content update for the online mode is “Bottom Dollar Bounties” and was released in the summer.
