- For some time now, some players have had problems in GTA Online.
- However, the problems only affect older consoles.
- Those affected now suspect a plan on the part of Rockstar.
GTA 5 Online still enjoys a certain popularity, not only because fans need a distraction from waiting for GTA 6, but also because Rockstar continues to provide the game with new updates.
But it is precisely these updates that are now causing increasing dissatisfaction among fans, who are now accusing the GTA company Rockstar of discriminating against players with last-gen consoles such as Xbox One and PS4.
On Reddit, some users are convinced that Rockstar will only release the new updates optimized for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, because unlike the next-gen consoles, older models can no longer keep up.
As proof that the latest GTA Online update causes problems, especially with old consoles, there are also videos showing that an Xbox One cannot reload the environment fast enough when driving at high speed.
Among other things, this means that players can no longer avoid obstacles quickly enough. However, it is questionable whether Rockstar really wants to consciously push old consoles out of the game.
