GTA Online was recently optimized specifically for the new PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, and a short time later Rockstar Games added a new membership program called GTA+. We’ll tell you what’s behind it here.
In the coming weeks, more precisely from March 29, 2022, the new membership program GTA + for GTA Online will start. According to Rockstar Games, those who participate will receive exclusive benefits. For the moment, however, the new paid format is reserved for the newer PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
GTA+ members will receive GTA$500,000 deposited into their Maze Bank account each month, as well as the opportunity to secure properties in and around Los Santos that unlock new gameplay updates that you may have missed before. Plus special vehicle upgrades, members-only discounts, GTA$ and RP bonuses, and more.
The benefits of the new format rotate monthly and for the debut month from March 29th to April 27th they are as follows:
- GTA$500,000 auto credited to your Maze Bank account.
- The Principe Deveste Eight – including a free upgrade from Hao’s Special Works before it’s available to all players – plus the Orange HSW Trip and HSW CMYK Glitch themes.
- The Auto Repair Shop in La Mesa is available for free on Maze Bank Foreclosures – it introduces a number of different gameplay updates as part of Los Santos Tuners. Auto repair shop owners can move them to La Mesa at no additional cost.
- Waiver of the membership fee in the LS Car Meet. Current members of the LS Car Meets with GTA+ will receive a GTA$50,000 credit during this event period.
- Yacht owners can upgrade to the Aquarius Superyacht at no additional cost.
- The Gusset Frog T-Shirt and Broker Prolapse Basketball Jersey and Shorts will be automatically added to your wardrobe.
- Access to the Assembly Line Livery for the Mammoth Avenger, HVY MTW and TM-02 Khanjali.
- Free color variants and emblems for the auto repair shop.
- Triple GTA$ and RP in the HSW Racing Series.
- Double Car Meet Reputation in all Road Series races.
In addition, GTA+ members can purchase special cash cards in the PlayStation Store on PS5 as well as in the Microsoft Store, which include an additional cash bonus. Incidentally, all the benefits of GTA+ appear in addition to the normal GTA Online events, which take place as usual for all players.
However, the format also has its price: If you register for GTA +, you will have to shell out 5.99 dollars per month in the future. Termination should be possible at any time. Details on each GTA+ benefit will be announced month-to-month accordingly, allowing you to choose whether or not to continue your subscription.
From today, both GTA V and GTA Online are officially available for the new consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
