Rockstar Games recently announced the next big update to GTA Online, now it’s clear what you can look forward to: The next big heist is on its way.
Shortly after cult developer Rockstar Games hinted at the “biggest update ever” for Grand Theft Auto Online, further details have now been announced. As expected by many gamers, there is, among other things, a completely new island for the game that you can explore extensively.
But it is not necessarily the new region that is the focus of the content update, but rather a completely new, big heist. You can master this either alone or together with up to three friends; Rockstar has revised and adjusted the Heist mechanics especially for this purpose.
Without a doubt, the new The Cayo Perico Heist in GTA Online is the most exciting new piece of content in a long time. Incidentally, there is also tons of other game content to explore and items to collect on the island. New weapons, new vehicles, new radio stations – Rockstar Games leaves nothing to chance and wants to keep the long-running players in the bar.
The Cayo Perico Heist will be available in GTA Online starting December 15th; so you don’t have to wait long. The online part of the title is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One; a specially optimized game version for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S will follow in 2021.
In mid-December, GTA Online will be expanded to include the new The Cayo Perico Heist.
